Software are coded thanks to programming languages. There are different programming languages according to the different type of program you would like to create. For example Python is mainly used for web & internet development, scientific application whereas programming languages such as Java will mostly be used to develop Android apps.

As a marketer, you will probably stick to programming languages used on the web only so as the four that we are introducing below:

Client-site programming languages

For example HTML, CSS, JavaScript are all three client programming languages.

HTML

It is about the text content of the web pages.

CSS

It is about styling/design of your web pages.

JavaScript

It is about making the web pages dynamic.

Server-side programming languages

PHP

PHP is a server-side programming language.
